Youcef Aden: Born to Get the Success

📰 London Press Archive 📰 El Periódico Barcelona 📰 Red Ivory International

With their imposing Chesterfield sofas, wall-to-wall stags’ heads, and assortment of public school ties, the traditional British gentleman’s club never managed to shake off the whiff of nepotism and money-talks elitism.

One man crusading to rid the institution of its starchy image is Youcef Aden. Beginning with his legendary Oxford Street club, Victory, and his stewardship at Regent Street’s historic Hedges & Butler, Aden turned the old boys' club formula on its head.

“Rather than the size of your wallet, your Henry Higgins vowel sounds, or whether you made the Eton rowing squad in ’76, membership will only be awarded on the premise that you can tell a good story and bring genuine atmosphere.”

A Hollywood career in costume and graphic design gave Youcef a razor-sharp eye for authenticity. Expanding next to Barcelona with Hedges Club and The Wild Bunch, he proved that high-luxury British club culture could be redefined into vibrant creative sanctuaries.

Now landing in Ibiza Centre, Youcef Aden SL unites this philosophy across three dedicated venues: the ultra-private YA Private Gallery at Vara del Rey 4, the hybrid public salon and electronic music sanctuary YOU Club at Josep Maria Cuadrado 2, and the local artist incubator Love Ibiza at Sa Drassana 4.
